As you can guess, looking at my nick name, I was born in Spain and I live here. In addition I love my country, its history, its cultural heritage and its future. I invite you to discover all of it by yourself, taking your time, visiting not only the most famous places but some of the most "hidden" too. Spain will surprise you because there are a lot of cities and natural parks that worth a visit and are not well known, even for Spanish people.
Como puedes adivinar, mirando mi sobrenombre, yo nací en España y vivo aquí. Además me encanta mi país, su historia, su patrimonio cultural y su futuro. Te invito a descubrir todo esto por tí mismo, tomando su tiempo, visitando no sólo los lugares más conocidos, sino también algunos de los más "escondidos". España te sorprenderá porque tiene muchas ciudades y parques naturales que merecen una visita y no son muy conocidos, incluso para los españoles. Si eres español te aconsejo que, además de salir al extranjero, visites nuestros tesoros más cercanos, que a veces los descuidamos (algo que me pasa también a mí). |

|  | Spain is a European Union member state mainly located in the Iberian Peninsula, in the South-West of Europe. It has 50 provinces included into 17 Autonomous Communities and 2 Autonomous cities located in mainland, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands and Ceuta and Melilla.
Our flag consist of three horizontal stripes: red, yellow and red, the yellow strip being twice as wide as each red stripe. It's the National flag since 1785, during the Charles III's reign. The coat of arms is placed al the left, next to the mast.
España es un Estado miembro de la Unión Europea situado en su mayoría en la Península Ibérica, en el Suroeste de Europa. Tiene 50 provincias incluidas en 17 Comunidades Autónomas y 2 Ciudades Autónmomas, situadas en la Península, las Islas Baleares, las Islas Canarias, y Ceuta y Melilla.
Nuestra bandera se compone de tres franjas: roja, amarilla y roja, siendo la amarilla de doble anchura que cada una de las rojas. Esta es la bandera nacional desde 1785, durante el reinado de Carlos III. El escudo se encuentra a la izquierda, cerca del mastil. |
Spain is a Parliamentary Monarchy since our Constitution of 1978. The Head of State is H.M. Juan Carlos I and the Chief of the Goverment is named by the King after the Spanish Congress of Deputies, elected by the the citizens of each province, approves the candidate proposed by him. The King proposes the candidate after a talk with the representatives of each elected political party and he is, in practice, the chief of the party with more Deputies.

Juan Carlos I y el Jefe de Gobierno es nombrado por el Rey una vez que el Congreso de los Diputados, elegido por los ciudadanos de cada provincia, aprueban el candidato propuesto por él.
