Monastery and Sanctuary - Monasterio y santuario

We decided to visit the Sanctuary of Montserrat after six intensive days visiting Barcelona. It's a wonderful day-trip from this city with very good and comfortable connections. There are two main reasons to come here: the sanctuary, where the Virgin of Montserrat, patron of Catalonia, is worshiped and the breathtaking mountains and rock formations. If you are searching both spirituality and nature or just one of them Montserrat is a must in your trip to Barcelona!
