París, ¡la ciudad donde trabajo! Tomorrow, les journées du patrimoine!!
Building a page about Paris is completly easy, because the city offers you a lot of thing to speak about, marvellous spot to tip at and very well known places. But on the other hand I think that write a really interesting new Paris page is not easy at all. There are thousand of pages of Paris on VT with tons of information. Some of them are really good travel books and some others have perfectly well taken pictures.
So, I'm going to write a comprehensive and useful page, trying not to be redundant with information without any practical use. I'm living in Paris right now and I'll be here, at least, for a year. I love this town and I really enjoy visiting it. There are lots of things to do, to visit and to enjoy in.
I'm going to build my pages following a structure for a visit. The thing I actually do is to follow the proposed visiting trails by the Anaya Guide, that I really think is so good. Little by little, on weekends, I'm following one of these trails, taking pictures of every single building or monument, visiting even much more interesting places that are not in this guide and, of course, living this city and enjoying "non-typical tourist" things and, unfortunatly, discovering the not so good faces of Paris. I'm going to try to discover you all of these things in town, the good and the bad ones, the typical and well known and the hiden ones.
The tips are going to be ordered following the good trail to don't lost any detail in town. I'm going to write each proposed trail in this front page, giving a link to the departure spot in each one. In addition I'm going to put a link of each place ordered by district (arrondissement), in order to make the research as easier as possible.
Construir una página sobre París es fácil, ya que l aciudad ofrece muchísimas cosas sobre las que hablar, maravillosos lugares que aconsejar y muchos sitios conocidos. Pero por otro lado creo que escribir una página nueva sobre París realmente interesante ni es nada sencillo. Hay miles de páginas en VT con toneladas de información. Slgunas de ellas son verdaderos libros de viajes y otras tienen una fotografías increibles.
Así que voy a intentar de construir una página completa y práctica, intentando no ser repetitivo con información sin sentido práctico. En estos momentos estoy viviendo en París y estaré aquí por lo menos un año. Me encanta esta ciudad y verderamente estoy disfrutando visitándola. Hay muchísimas cosas por hacer, por visitar y por disfrutar.
Voy a construir mi página siguiendo una estructura para la visita. Lo que realmente hago es seguir las rutas propuestas por la guía de Anaya, wue realmente pienso es muy buena. Poco a poco, los fines de semana, estoy siguiendo una de estas rutas, tomando fotos de cada monumento, visitando aun más lugares de los que están en la guía y, por supuesto, viviendo la ciudad y disfrutando las cosas no "típicamente turísticas", asi como, desgraciadamente, descubriendo los aspectos no tan buenos de París. Voy a tratar de mostrarte todas estas cosas de la ciudad, las buenas y las malas, las típicas y las menos conocidas.
Los "tips"los voy a ordenar siguiendo una buena ruta para no perderse ningún detalle. Voy ha escribir cada una de las rutas propuestas en ésta página principal, poniendo un enlace para el punto de salida. Además voy a poner un enlace para cada lugar ordenado por barrios, para hacer la consulta lo más facil posible. |
|  | Paris is a huge metropolitan area. The city itself has "just" a bit more than 2 millions inhabitant, but the city with its suburbs is more than 11 people. On the other hand Paris is a very compact city so much more of the must-to-see spot are very closely located each other or well connected by public transport.
As you know Paris is the capital city of France, located in the North of the country. In addition it's the capital city of Île-de-France region. Paris is divided into 20 district (called arrondissements), starting from the 1th in the centre and finishing with the 20th, following a spiral or shell of nail form. The city is limited for a by-pass speed way (périphérique) and it's easy to know its limits in the metro undergroud system because they are indicated for the stations called "Porte de..." (Gate of...) One way or another Paris is completly surrounded by the neighbouring cities without any unbuilt space and it's perfectly well connected with the public transport system.
Paris coat of arms depicts the Lys flower (Bourbon dynasty symbol) and a sailing boat. It's motto is Fluctuat nec mergitur or She is tossed by the waves, but is not sunk
París es una inmensa área metropolitana. La ciudad propiamente dicha es "sólo" una pequeña parte con más de 2 millones de habitantes, pero la ciudad con sus ciudades vecinas son más de 11 millones de personas. Por otro lado, París es una ciudad muy compacta, de manera que casi todo lo imprescindible para visitar está muy cerca o bien conectado por transporte público.
Como sabes, París es la capital de Francia, en el norte del país. Además es la capital de la región Isla de Francia (Île-de-France). París se divide en 20 barrios (arrondissements), comenzando por el 1 en el centro y terminando por el 20 siguiendo una forma de caracol. La ciudad está delimitada por la circunvalación (périphérique) y también es fácil de ver sus límites en el metro porque estas estaciones se llaman "Porte de..." De cualquier manera, París está completamente rodeada por las ciudades vecinas sin ningún espacio libre entre ellas y está muy bien conectada por transporte público.
El escudo de París representa las flores de Lys (símbolo de la dinastía Borbón) y un barco que navega en un mar agitado. Su lema es "Fluctuat nec mergitur" o "Se balancea con las olas, pero no se hunde" |
