Saint Denis is a small city next to Paris. The first reason to come to this suburb is to visit the Basilica, where the French kings are buried. During its history, Saint-Denis has been closely associated with the French royal house; starting from Dagobert I, almost every French king is buried in the Basilica. Appart from this historical fact, the Basilica is incredible beautiful itself, being the first Gothic Cathedral. Its stained glass windows are definitely remarkable.

Durante su historia, Saint Denis ha sido asociada ala casa real francesa; comenzando por Dagoberto I, practicamente todos los reyes franceses están enterrados aquí. Saint Denis is a small city in the outskirts of Paris, very easy to arrive in from the capital city centre by the Metro system. It's seems as if you don't leave Paris because, in fact, there are no empty spaces between the capital and Saint Denis, as its happens with all its suburbs.
