Brookings was by far our favorite stop last summer. We traveled along the northwestern coast with some foreign exchange students from Taiwan. This small town is perfect for out of the way travelers. Not too crowded. Nice a cool in the summer although a bit breezy. But, that's to be expected on the coast. Lots to do for the outdoorsman.
- Pros:Just outside the Redwood Forest.
- Cons:A little fishy at times.
- In a nutshell:Perfect coastal town.
