Life Concept: Natural- living with power of nature

Welcome-
Here is about me a little bit.

I'm a student studying Communication Design at (FIT) Fashion Institute of Technology in NY. I was born and grow up in Japan. I finished a community college as majoring business. After that, I worked at apprel company. When I was 21 years old. I transfered to NC (USA) majoring Fine art. During the program, I transfered to NY to get into this design school.

In 2004/2005/2006, I visited Italy to join workcamp for nearly 1 months and those were great experience to work with friends who came from different countries. Especially, 2006 winter was meaningful to think about enviromental, peace, and my life. I like learning languages. Also, living and mixing with differfent countries' culture and people is one of my favorite time.

Now, I study Italian but I don't have a chance to use here, so it's easy to forget... Instead of Italian, I hear a lot of Spanish near my apartment. haha...My neighbors are cheerful and friendlly Spanish speakers!!

Except traveling, my hobbies are swimming, watching forign movies (French is my favorate), listening to music (House, Acoustic, Bossa nova), riding bicycle (when I travel, I like renting bike <-- it is great way if you want to look around a city quickly), taking photos (both manual and degital) and going to flea market. These days, cooking....?!

International workcamps information

Workcamp from 2006 Italy Winter

One of my hobby is traveling local place. I started exploring and living local places with international workcamps. They usually held camp in countryside, so it is easier to enter and experience local culture deeply. If you are intersted in workcamp, please visit, www.vfp.org
Little by little, this activity is known by mouth of words. This is for United state. Most country has organization like this. Usually, they start application from March for summer camp. You have to pay $250 for each camp, but they will offer accomodition and foods. You have to pay transpotation from pocket money. This is worth of $250 for 2 weeks.
