I don't know who decided to spell it 'Lowetsch", I guess some German-speaking guy. That's why it took me so long to add this nice town to my travel map.
In Lovetch you can see the famous covered bridge on the Ossam river, the old part called Varosha, and the fortress on the hills. |

The green and rugged countryside is amazing in this part of Bulgaria!! I also very much enjoyed the views on your unfinished 'Veliko Turnovo' page. We have a lot of covered bridges where I live, but none as beautiful as Lovech's! |
