I always find it difficult to introduce myself because I never know what could be interesting for others. So I'll start in a traditional way.
My Name is Lilia and I am Bulgarian.

I was born in this city but my parents left Sofia soon after that. The most of my school years I spent in Bourgas. I came back to Sofia to study at the university.
In the beginning I missed the sea so much that I even hated Sofia. I was impatient to graduate and to go home, i.e. to Bourgas. But sometimes in life things don't go according to the plan. Now I have been living in Sofia for more than 16 years already. I really enjoy living here. But the thing I like the most here is the Vitosha mountain and the possibly to get there in a half an hour.
But still if someone asks me where I come from the answer is: "I come from Burgas".

I haven't visited many countries. There are a lot of reasons.
I prefer going somewhere for a longer period and not for just a day or two. I want to meet local people, to learn how they live, to feel the atmosphere.
And leaving my job for a longer period is not very easy. So most of the time I spend in planing rather than in a realisation, i.e. travelling. But I am going to change that!!!
Last year I visited Tunisia and Istanbul. I liked the both places very much and I hope I go there again some day.

Another thing: I'd prefer learning the language of the country before going there. I'd spent a couple of years learning German before I went to Vienna and then to Germany.
Now I'm learning Spanish. I hope to visit Latin America someday. It is a dream from my childhood.
But as you can see from my English I am not very good with languages...

Meanwhile I'm travelling around Bulgaria.
I really like my country. There are so many beautiful places here... and I'm going to show them to you.
