"Eldorado Canyon - Boulder's Backyard" Eldorado Canyon State Park by Yorick12

Eldorado Canyon is located about five miles southwest of Boulder. It's claim to fame is it's five hundred technical rock climbing routes, but it has something for everyone. The canyon is beautiful in itself and a great for a picnic. There's miles of trails that connect into Boulder's trail systems. It gets very hot and crowded in the summer months and is best visited in the spring/fall or during weekdays. Daily Vehicle Pass from October 1 through April 30 - $6; Daily Vehicle Pass from May 1 through September 30 - $7; Daily Walk-In Pass - $3
