Excellent hiking

Slabroek is a very beautiful place for hiking. There are several routes between 1.5 and 8 km long. The all go through forest as well as open fields (heather and sand). There are many wild and semi-wild animals. If you don't see some of the following animals, you are unlucky: Scottish Highlanders, deer, rabbits, foxes, hare etc. etc. There are also some small lakes, in which frogs and salamanders live. All hiking trails start and finish at the Slabroek visitor's center.
Besides hiking trails, there are some paved cycling trails at Slabroek, which are part of a greater network.
