The Upsala glacier is the most spectacular part of the Los Glaciaros national park, though not as frequently visited as Perito Moreno. Upsala glacier enters the Lago Argentino in the northwest. The only way to get to Upsala glacier is by boat. Boats depart from Punta Bandera, and then it is over one hour of sailing through a fascinating landscape with more ice from minute to minute. |
| | Perito Moreno glacier The Perito Moreno glacier is known all over the world because of a very rare and spectacular phenomenon. Read more about this phenomenon on my subpages. |
| | El Calafate, the village If you want to visit the Los Glaciaros national park, the village of El Calafate is the closest village of any significance. |
