This marks the last quarter of 2005 and I just came back from Dakak, Dapitan City, Zamboanga, Mindanao.

What's there to say about the place? Seclusion. Isolation. That's it. It's no Boracay but it's special in its own right. The locals aren't as hospitable as I expected but that's ok. I didn't go there to socialize anyways.

I booked through Philippine Airlines under their Palakbayan Packages (it was my third choice- the two others are fully booked) with my childhood friend, Barbs.

I'm thinking about traveling by myself. Still mustering the courage though. Maybe next year? My plans for next year aren't definite yet but one of them should be to go to another province in the Philippines, somewhere I've never been to, by myself.

I'll be working at Tagaytay, Cavite for awhile so most likely it'll be just around the area if I have time. It's going to be a hectic month starting now so my travel will be limited to commuting everyday to Tagaytay. No, I will not drive. Gas prices are sky high and I'm saving up for my next trip!

September - Iloilo City, Philippines

Oct-November - Dakak Park Beach Resort, Dapitan City, Zamboanga, Mindanao, Philippines

Plans include Davao, Philippines, Macau, and El Nido, Palawan Philippines. Hopefully if there's no more bird flu outbreak, my trip to Vietnam will push through (cancelled last September in favor of Miniloc in El Nido but then it's fully booked for All Saints Day grrr). I could squeeze in HongKong Disneyland perhaps if my schedule and budget permits.

It's only November and I'm already excited for 2006!
