Spent a nice afternoon in Verona. Made our way through two huge arches of 'Piazza Bra'.The arena and Vittorio Emanuele II monument on the right. Then we passed 'via Mazzini' and turned left to 'Piazza delle erbe'. Personally it's the most beutiful square in Verona. Two towers, a Palace, a fountain and souvenier stalls. Proceeded to more cobblestoned narrow streets and among others we visited a small church with tombs at the side, The Duomo and Ponte Pietra. Across the river Adige we could admire the 'Castelvecchio' and 'San Giorgio in Braida'. We couldn't leave Verona without visiting Juliette's House . There was at least two hundred people in the courtyard. Was literaly impressed by the thousands of graffitti and love notes posted to the four walls. At first glance it seemed a bit of an eyesore but lovers will do anything in the name of Love. Before we left Verona we visited the the tomb of Juliette, the 'Castelovecchio', and the 'Ponte della Vittoria' and 'Porta Vescovo'
