"Madrid-Ciudad de la Marcha" a Madrid Travel Page by cimc

I lived in Madrid for a year and I had so much fun. It really is jam packed with things to do and compared to most European cities it can be very good value. I have heard it said (though I am not sure if it is true) that there are more bars here than in all the other Western European Capitals combined. Madrilenos are dedicated to "La Marcha" and almost every night of the week the streets are teeming with activity. Almost every Spanish tradition can be found in Madrid (with the notable exception of the beach!!). Given the chance I would go back tomorrow!
