Frankfurt am Main or Frankfurt (am Main), city in west central Germany, in Hessen, a port on the Main River. It is a major manufacturing, financial, commercial, and transportation center. I only spent 2 days in Frankfurt and it had some great young clubs and musuems. Great stop over.
