    • Favorite Thing: Credit cards are accepted almost at all top end hotels but not at 99% of the cheap hotels and hostels. Only posh restaurants take credit cards and most tourist offices will accept them. Visa and Mastercard are the most widely accepted cards and cash advances can made at very few banks.

    • Favorite Thing: Most major currencies can be exchanged in Pakistan with the US dollar despite declining value being most widely accepted followed by the Euro and English Pound. Offical money exchange receipts (you can ask for them) come in handy if you want to convert unused rupees into foreign currency before you leave the country. Pakistani rupees can be reconverted at the international airport banks (US dollars given). If you go in the northern areas or off the beaten track then carry a lot of rupees due to no exchange places (legal ones anyway)
