Great Day Trip

The virtually deserted and crumbling village on the side of a hill about 85km north of Yazd, is a captivating place to wander around. Parts are believed to be over a 1000 years old, and it's been occupied in some form for more than 4000 years. The Qajar era mosque, 17th century shaking minaret and caravanserai on the edge of town are highlights. It was a great day trip from Yazd and the surrounding mountains views were stunning.
