These were my first impressions of AU

In the summer of '04 I took a twenty-two day sojourn down under, visiting AU and NZ. Moreton island was the first stop on my adventure. The island is the second largest sand composed island in the world. Im pretty sure that the largest is also in AU. I only spent a few days here, and I know there was much more available for me to do but didn't get the chance. Moreton is home to stunning views of ocean and tropical awesomeness.

Oasis of sand. Is there such a thing?

Yes, there is, and it is located in the heart of Moreton island. Being an island entirely composed of sand makes this mini desert in the island about as shocking as rain in the amazon.

Hey! That dolphin stole my fish!

Moreton Island is also home to the world renowned Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort. A family of wild dolphins live in the vicinity of the island's waters and visit close up multiple times daily. Sea World eat your heart out.

Pros and Cons
