Ulm is a fascinating old city of approximately 115,000 on the Danube River. It contains one of the great German cathedrals, a wonderful centrum with many historic half-timbered houses, and is certainly worth the trip for those who enjoy such things. |

Glad you discovered this interesting city. Ulm was one of our stops on a Danube canoe trip to Vienna in 1962. Now I still go there occasionally, and have just posted a VT page about it. I've never heard that organ, but will have a listen next time. | luckyzen Sat Apr 22, 2006 22:54 UTC
