Laos Travel Guide: 3,595 reviews and 8,825 photos
We spent almost a month in this tiny friendly country. We made a speedy entry from Thailand to Xiang Kok. We were well equiped with head gear, though, as you can see in the picture below.
We enjoyed the varied and hilly landscape, the friendly and happy people, the food... and the Mekong River, a continous presence during our time there.
And, after Laos, where to next? Vietnam, of course.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Very friendly place.
- Cons:Are there any?
- In a nutshell:Soup, sticky rice, Beer Lao, and bicycle rides along the Mekong.
