We were running from the North to the South, stopping only in Torino, Milano, Roma, Napoli (e Pompeii).
We spent as much money in a week in Italy as we did in one month in India (see India's chapter).
We enjoyed our time with our Italian friends (Carla, Marella, Tommaso and Carlo), the food and the relaxing environment, but we were ready to take the ferry to Greece and keep moving East.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Food, historical sites and atmosphere.
Cons:Prices, number of tourists.
In a nutshell:Ci vediamo al tramonto e poi andiamo a fare una pizza (I'll see you at sunset and then we go for a pizza).
