Lisbon to Brighton (UK) by Car

This trip started in Lisbon on the 29th July where I stayed at Estalagem do Farol in Cascais, for a well deserved rest.

The trip by car back to Brighton (UK) started on the 7th August and ended in Brighton on the 10th August.

I shared the driving with my partner on a right handside car, which means I drove on the right/wrong side of the road most of the time...

I will upload some photos asap.

Touch the Sea...

This Hotel is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed.

It's small, has a pool and a view to die for, right in the heart of Cascais, near Boca do Inferno.

It's just a stroll down to the recently built marina with all its shops and restaurants and 10 min walk to the centre of town.

Right next door you have a club - Coconuts - with its great outdoor dance floor. Be prepared to wait at the door and to fight for a space at the weekends.

Expensive but secluded and the staff couldn't be more approachable and nice. Prices start at 130 euros in October to 235 Euros per night in August. Very well known names in portuguese fashion have designed some of the rooms, which take their names at the door. All rooms are very good sized and all tubs have hydro massage - delicious at the end of the day.

You can use the pool for 15 euros pp per day.

Hello, I suppose you mean HONFLEUR (that's how it's spelled!) But I agree with you, Honfleur is a really nice town!
