We we to the ruins and its famous market on separate days. Both time we were rushed. You can easily spend half a day exploring the ruins. Some of the hiking paths are steep and proved to be too much for my height-fearing phobia. My wife and kids said there're great views hiking to the Intiwatana.
The market is a shopper's paradise. We went on a Thursday, business was in full swing. There're many things to bargain for. When you get to the main plaza, there're more locals selling food and vegetables, etc. They were also about to start some kind of a procession , but we had to leave. |

I LOVE Pisac! When I was there, the air was so clean, it was like a new pair of glasses. And even on the "off" days, the market is somewhat active. NIce Pisac page Richard. Hope to go back some day. |
