The name Belgrade means the white city on English. Well I don’t know is it really white but it’s my home town and I love it. Belgrade has great and rich history. Many wars have been here but Belgrade always keeps its independency and unique charm. Many visitors are really surprise when come to visit Belgrade because they listen stories about wars, sanctions, NATO bombing …and then they have possibility to convince that it’s one really modern, pleasant and european city |
Belgrade is located in the south-east of Europe, in the Balkan Peninsula, at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. Just come and do enjoy Belgrade's unique charm and hospitality because there are many reasons for it. |

planxty Sat May 30, 2009 16:00 UTC Ruzica, an excellent and very useful page. I particularly like the descriptions of the food, as I love to eat! I hope to visit soon. fergy. | etfromnc Sat Apr 4, 2009 01:24 UTC I only spent parts of two days in your hometown but I saw enough to know that I want to return. I hope that you have a delightful birthday on Sunday! | Agraichen Tue Dec 2, 2008 17:28 UTC GREAT pages on your city. It took me back to 1970 when I was fortunate enough to visit for a few days. | chamobear Thu May 1, 2008 17:50 UTC I must say that we were disappointed with the restaurants in Skadarlija. We first tried Dva Jelena. The decor was excellent. The service was awful. We then tried Ima Dana where the service was better but the decor was pedestrian and the food was sub-par. |
