Beautiful Mürren

Having only been to Murren in the wintertime, I can only judge by this. But is the most beautiful place you can imagine! Spent Christmas and New Year and what a good time. We were told that it was a long time ago that they had had so much snow during Christmas.

Good skiing

Not really a good skier, but the snow was as far as I'm concerned very good.

Piz Gloria

In the late sixtees the Bond-film 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' was shot in part in Murren. The villain Blofeld used the Piz Gloria as his 'lair' Under construction at the time, the film crew agreed to build a helipad and also draw extra power cables at the expense of $60.000.

I am a big James Bond fan and have been to Murren. I loved it. I am planning on going there next Christmas 2009 and hopefully celebrate New Years 2010 at Piz Gloria.
