Colonial sugar capital

by Saringuis - last update: Dec 4, 2006

Red roofs, buildings in pastel shades, cobbled little roads and historic museums make this town absolutely worth seeing! The noticeably warmer temperatures add to the slower pace of life which you will find here. This is the perfect place to take a break from a busy city like Havana. On the one hand, in the new part, you can find everything you need in Supermarkets, banks, fastfood restaurants... On the other hand you can spend the afternoon strolling around in the old center, which is a completely pedestrian zone, visit the old buildings and chill out on a terras, cockatil by hand while listening to live music, perhaps letting lose on the dancefloor. No stress here!
