  • Go to the gold museum and let the legend of El dorado come alive! The entery price is very low so, you have nothing to lose! Just pop in there!

  • The Sanctuary of Monserrate... What to expect; a big church located on top of a "holy" mountain. Colombian go up there for weddings, sunday mass, ect. There are a few restaurants, a gorgeous vieuw of the city(spectacular by night), beautiful gardens and statues. It's a sereen place where you are surrounded by peace. If you go on sunday, you probably won't find this calmness though! The hill has a rich (religious)history you should find out about!

  • This is a place where you can picnic on big natural stone tables, enjoy the view, go horse riding, taste some good colombian food... basically have a nice afternoon between friends.

    Things To Do: Walk downtown

  • You might hear it's very dangerous, and well, maybe it is if you are walking around with a camera around your neck, shorts, sportshoes with socks sticking out ( = the classic "Hello, I'm a tourist, please mob me"-sign) But if you are just walking around casually, as if you know where you are going, chances are nothing will happen to you! Downtown Bogota is a mix of new modern buildings and older traditional constructions. Worth checking out!
