I believe this was a hostel. I don't think it was an inn or a hotel. If you are on a budget, this place would be for you. After all, you will probably be spending most of your time sight-seeing, so it is a great place to lay your head down at the end of the nite.
They provide lockers in your room, so you can lock up whatever valuables that you have. Unisex rooms that room 2-12 people @ a very reasonable price. There is not much privacy, but great oppurtunity to meet fellow travellers like your self.
The rooms are clean. I believe someone comes in every day or other to tidy up and make the beds. The bathroom, on the other hand,not as clean. It was like 50 people sharing the same bathroom.
The staff is super friendly at the front desk are able to help you with directions, they'll call a taxi for you if you need, and provide other services.
Internet access is available, but there are other places in the town, that offer a better rate.

Our first visit to London, I just found this place online and decided to book it for the 3 nights that we were going to stay in the city. When we arrived, and realized that the price was way out of our budget in comparison to a hostel, we decided to stay the night, check out the next day and head to a hostel..which we found more budget friendly. The rooms were not good for the price, quite small. But I suppose you are paying for privacy. The staff was unfriendly at first, but sooned warmed up to us when we made friendly conversation. The best thing about this place was the location..Great atmosphere and everything within walking distance.

Unique Qualities: This B&B comprises some 26 bedrooms over 4 stories providing multi type rooms from singles to large family rooms of up to 5 beds. Conveniently located in the heart of Notting Hill, local transport links are excellent. Notting Hill Gate underground station less than a 5 minute walk away. This is an 18th Century Victorian building centrally situated in a quiet residential square. The locality is renowned for its bustling bohemian lifestyle with its trendy shops and many restaurants and cafes.
