Favorite Thing: If you need to go to the airport for something else than getting a Wizzair or Thomsonfly flight, please make sure that you are at the right place. There is the main terminal which looks like a container village and is located at the eastern side of the airport. And there are facilities in the west, kilometers away from the mentioned terminal buildings. This includes the offices of the Air Atlantique Group and several flight schools. Flights with ClassicFlight.com, which is part of the Air Atlantique Group, usualy start from the western side with West Gate being the meeting point. While public transport to the terminals is pretty good, you’ll only find a bus stop in the nearby village of Baginton, if you want to get to the western side.

Fondest Memory: I did not inform myself well enough and so I found myself pretty stranded with twenty pounds at an airport without any ATM and miles away from the place where I wanted to be. Finally, I had to call for a cab to bring me to the West Gate. My twenty pounds were reduced to ten and I still had no idea how to get back into the city center after the show.
