Restaurant Name: Restaurante São Pedro

You'd better make a reservation if you want to dine at this restaurant for it's very popular. The style is long white table cloths, if you see what I mean. The service was very friendly.

Favorite Dish: We had steaks of beef and shark (see pictures). The price level was rather high and for that money we would have expected more tender beef steaks. The shark was tender though and swimming in butter. For dessert I had fruit lasagne, which was simply a variety of cut fruits in layers. Very light and fresh and yummy (sorry no pic).

Restaurant Name: SP at the Sol-Mar mall

This is a truly inexpensive local restaurant where you can have a full meal for 5 euros. Also drinks and karaoke singing. We heard a rumour about this place from other people who hd been and were happy to recommend it. So we had to see for ourselves.

Favorite Dish: Our meal of the day was fish soup (consisting of fish and potatoes) , then, a plate of chunks of fish on top of sliced potatoes with a big shrimp on top of the heap. Well, what can I say... they don't use much spices at this restaurant... he-he-he ... at least it was a warm meal and the coffee was hot.

Restaurant Name: Snack-Bar "A Paparoca"

Your regular pizza parlor where you pay first at the cashier and then they bring you your pizza. The price for a medium size was 8,80. Same price as we have in Finland.

Favorite Dish: The pizzas were big and tasty.

Restaurant Name: The bar at the marina

Meal of the day was just 5,25 (prato do dia). When I was there, it was lasagne. Very good and a big portion, too. Some other people had steaks and they were big and tasty and these people were happy enough to go there again to have some more steaks the next day.
