So many places...so little time

I had my first traveling experience when I was 9. Thanks to my maternal grandma who has the travel bug and I guess she passed it on to me and my sister Cookie. We first started mostly with trips to Taipei (we were born and raised in Manila, Philippines), but as we grow up, the travel bug grows bigger too. Good thing that my job also allows me to travel around a bit but aside from that, my sister and I had this tradition of traveling to a new city every year since 1996. Guess I'm lucky to be married to someone who also loves traveling and our annual trips back home to Europe will give me the opportunity to travel around the continent a bit too. For me, there's simply too many places to see with so little time as we both hold a fulltime job. But hey, still worth trying.

I guess I love traveling a lot coz for one, it takes your mind off your daily mundane life. Then it makes you feel how big the world is and how small and minute are your daily problems. It lets you feel how lucky you are to have what you have. It also gives you the opportunity to stop and smell the flowers.
