First Canadian Place is Canada's tallest skyscraper and also the headquarters of Bank of Montreal (BMO) is located in this building. Situated in the heart of the financial district there are always big conferences and shareholder meetings held here. They always have a schedule of who will be there and what events will be taking place. There is free internet and phone service available in the building.

A great view from the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre. Not really a restaurant, more of a bar/lounge but still a great place. The picture on the side is me and a few of my friends in the patio of Panorama. All the other necessary information is on the website that I listed below

The CN Tower has become the icon of Toronto and going to its top is something most tourist want to do and I suggest doing it. The view is very nice, however I wouldn't say it's exceptional, it's beautiful at night but you cannot pinpoint buildings and streets. This is tallest free-standing structure in the world, at 550 something meters

Elgin & Winter Garden Theatres became designated as a national historic site in 1982. The place is beautiful and what is so special about this place is that it's one of the few operating double-decker theatres in the world. If there was time in hand this is a place that is worth checking out.

I go to the University of Toronto, which is one of the most historical universities in North America and it also has one of the highest standards and a very nice and friendly crowd. There is a true university feeling once you walk into this place.

Things To Do: My Favourite Place (Toronto Convention Centre)

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is truly a great place, there are so many important and large conferences held here every year. Sometimes the admission may be a bit costly but in some cases all you need is a business card but if perhaps what is taking place is related to your field any cost is worth paying. There are events held here all the time except during the holiday season. You can view the list of events from the website listed below.

A very large megaplex movie theatre located in the heart of the entertainment district. If you feel like catching a movie downtown this is the place to be. The prices are usually around $10-$12 on average and cheaper during the day. But there is always discounts on Tuesdays.

You can find all types of stuff at chinatown and the prices are great, very cheap compared to other places. It's also really interesting to get a look at Toronto's Asian part of the city, even though the Asian community in Toronto is very large in several other parts of the city as well. Chinatown is also a great place to buy fruits and vegtables at a fairly good price.

When it comes to the winter time Nathan Philip's square (City Hall) is the main place for outdoor ice skating. As you see in my pictures below the skating area is really nice and you can always rent skates there. If you've never skated before specially if you're coming from warm area I suggest you maybe give this a thought, although you may not enjoy it at first skating is very fun. The city hall is also one of the main spots to be in downtown Toronto when it comes to the New Year's count down, it sort of plays out to be similar to Times Square in New York city.
