Unique Qualities: Royal York is a very luxurious and historical place. There are many well known celebrities that have stayed there. The only thing is that it's a bit expensive for many visitors to want to stay at the Royal York. In any case for those of you who choose the Royal York, always have your eyes open for what else is taking place there. The reason I say this is because many large corporations tend to host events at the lobby or conference rooms of this place so you can take part and get a better view of what's hot in business. All the main information regarding possible price changes and facilities are listed on the website.

Unique Qualities: Close to the city hall (Nathan Philip's Square) this could be a great place to stay if you plan to come to Tornot during New Year's, at which time Natha Philip's square is like the Times Square of New York city. The view from the Hotel is amazing in all directions and it's a high class hotel that contains a bar/lounge, pool, parking, resturant, and a fitness center. Local calls are free and there is also a plus for pet owners, since pets are allowed at Sheraton. There is also access to the underground walking path so you can go around the core downtown region without stepping out during those cold winter days. The only negative side might be that room service can be a bit slow at times as the hotel does tend to get very busy and it is very expensive to use the internet.
