Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, is such a vibrating city with an adventurous fusion of old and new, west and east. There is the Colonial district, modern skyscrapers growing everywhere, the old vivid Chinese quarter of Cholon with the inscence smoked temples and markets, busy traffic with millions of scooters everywhere - riding on the pavement is just natural. Im used to bad traffic, but that is a new definition of chaos ;-)
