We headed off towards Hamilton and then onto Cambridge. This is a beautiful trip through some very picturesque country side. Stopping at Cambridge for lunch. Cambridge is a very pretty town, and the area is known for its horse breeding and farming.
Tourism is a very important industry in Rotorua with many motels, hotels, backpackers, caravan parks and B&B's to chose from for accommodation.
We wanted to have a real Maori experience, so for dinner we booked ourselves on a Tamaki Maori Village experience. In a word it was fantastic, great fun, great food and great entertainment, a must .

We ventured out to the Buried Village
