In 1974 I married Les, and this is when it all began. Les really enjoys seeing new places and he is always ready to go. He enjoys planning the trips and always gets a lot out of holidays.
As a young married couple with children our holidays mainly consisted of holidays along the coastal strip between Rockhampton in Queensland to Bega in New South Wales. As time went by we ventured farther afield until our first of many overseas trips.

With a lot of planning we took our sons to the UK to meet their grandparents they were 5 and 3.
We stayed in the UK 8 weeks using Les's parents as a base and travelling and touring around Scotland, Wales and southern England for 3 weeks also staying in London for a week.
It was our first adventure and even now gives me such wonderful memories. The boys don't remember visiting the UK as children but one son went and worked in London for 6 months as most young Australian do and the other son has been to London on holidays.
It was hard travelling with our 2 young sons especially getting on and off the buses in London but it was a very exciting time.

1986 Gold Coast Queensland took the boys to all the theme parks and visited my parents

1987 Holiday in Sydney with friends
1988 Moved to Toowoomba, Queensland, went to Expo 88 and Stradbroke Island for holidays with friends
1989 Nowra, New South Wales holiday with friends
1990 South Pacific Cruise, Fiji, Vanuata, New Caledonia with our sons

What an interesting harbour, very clean city, great day, we loved it. We toured around Kobe and Osaka.
