Adelaide is a great place to live.
It has great beaches, beautiful hills and lots of outdoor living. We live in a tiny town in the Adelaide hills. Its close to the city, but a wonderful feeling of country living. I live here with my beautiful husband and 3 terrific kids. We have a dog, cat ,birds and fish. At the moment we are renovating an old house.Ive renamed it the money pit for obvious reasons!!! We love our river murray which is about 200kms from Adelaide, and we waterski with our friends nearly every weekend in the summer months.
Overall Adelaide and South Australia is a great place to call home.
Adelaide has some fantastic places to visit. A walk around the city centre, will take you to the River Torrens , The festival Centre, beautiful parklands, The Adelaide Zoo and many other great spots.
Further afield you have the beaches. Glenelg is very popular with tourists, but Henley Beach and Semaphore beach also have a great deal to offer. For a day trip try Victor Harbour. It is about one hours drive from Adelaide. It used to be a Whalers Station many years ago, and whales are still seen here. It offers some of the most beautiful scenery in South Australia.
There really is something in Adelaide for everyone!!!!

Mmmm... now I am impatient. I want to whisper at resevoir wall-eat at Ruby Rajas, and see Glenelg-and more. Nice page, Deb. Thanks

That Whispering wall is amazing! lol Must give it a try! I'll give you a recipe and we go back to your place and you bake it and we'll see if you heard right! ;) Love the fact there are wildlife parks around :))

G'day Deb, I enjoyed revisiting Adelaide through your page - must do the same 'in person' again some time soon.
