"Desert People" Tucson by athena10x

Tucson is not your average town. Once a year the International Gem and Mineral Show desends upon this rather quite place and makes it the United Nations of Rock Lovers. One would feel as though they found a great town of multiculturalism only to find out that after two weeks of Helter Schelter....everyone packs up and heads back to their place of origin.
But none the less Tucson opens it's arms to us so we can experience desert culture.

There are numerous vendors selling all round the city during the Gem Fair and it is not uncommon to think that you are lost inside of a Bedouin camp of finely made hand crafts

Well this is just on example of the new homes that are going up for those of you wanting to escape the snow and rain. These little homes are sandwiched in just like in our big cities. Most of the older homes have expansive grounds around them therefore the garage is not the main focal point.

• Pros:Great winter escape. Many expensive golf courses. The hippies love their vegan food
• Cons:Plan to have a very quite life. Little pushing or shoving anywhere
