One day was more than enough... for me on this island. I have been to quite a few Caribbean islands and I can honestly say that this one was my least favorite out of all of them. Granted, I didn't really get a chance to explore in depth but that was the feeling I got. From the port we went on a sailing excursion, went shopping and took a taxi to the beach. The sailing was awesome, the shopping was crappy and the beach was nothing special. That sounds very harsh, but I can't see myself going back there for any length of time and having an enjoyable vacation! Who knows... maybe I am completely wrong though. |
