Rediscovering DC

(21Jul08)I have been slow do add to these, but with the purchase of a newer camera. I am making an effort to add a new tip at least every 1-2 weeks!!

Since moving to DC at the end of August 2006, I have been rediscovering all that it has to offer. I had wanted to revisit so many of monuments, museums, etc that I knew from years past. Although I have been doing more going out with friends to restaurants and bars, I still hope to fill these pages with information on the many things that bring people here.

You will find that I love to eat out and enjoy food (even though I love to cook) and will place many restaurants on here. I may not always fill out a full review when I put it up but plan to come back. If you see a restaurant on my pages, please feel free to contact me and I will let you know about it.

Petworth Neighborhood

I just recently moved into the Petworth neighborhood, which is on the Green Line at the Georgia-Avenue Metro stop. It is a pretty residential neighborhood but is growing more with new businesses. I am still trying to find the neighborhood places but have some in other parts of the District that I hang out in. So far, I like the neighborhood hope to be here a while.

After NYC, Washington must seem quiet. I haven't lived there in years, but when I did I frequented the restaurants in Adams Morgan, Georgetown, and Wisconsin Avenue Will have to try Mie N Y the next time I am in town.
