Québec City was one of the highlights of my Canada trip - and originally, I didn't even plan on going there! Located quite far off my planned route, I decided I would go to QC only if my VT friend Jefie had time to give me a tour. Well, she had, and the rest is history. I went there, met up with Isa and enjoyed a great time in Canada's oldest city (celebrating its 400th birthday in 2008!). |

|  | What is it that made me enjoy QC that much? Probably its europeanness - the city feels like a French town, not like a Canadian one. Walking through the hilly streets and lanes, you pass by épiceries, boulangeries, pôteries and much more which radiate the feeling to be in France. Moreover, the city is just wonderful and there's so much to see.
