Hamburg in winter

by King_Golo - last update: Apr 7, 2007

Hamburg's Stadtpark
I visited Hamburg last time in winter 2001. It was damn cold, they even had snow (which happens not too often due to the maritime climate), and the sun hardly came out.
Nevertheless, I tried to see as much as possible in two days: I went to Blankenese which certainly is one of the most beautiful parts of the city, to the Stadtpark with its large lawns, to the Binnenalster, a lake in the city centre, to the harbour, to St. Pauli and to several other places.

Pros:"a city with many interesting facettes"
Cons:"too cold when I was there"

I visited Hamburg in 1985, in the summer, and it was damn cold! :-)) I liked it, though, Hamburg reminds me of England!!!
