"Burford - Gateway to the Cotswolds" Burford by King_Golo

Burford Travel Guide: 40 reviews and 89 photos

Burford is one of the busiest villages in the Cotswolds: its High Street is lined with pubs, souvenir and clothes shops, tourists are strolling up and down, and most of the traffic to the Cotswolds passes through the village. This makes it less enjoyable compared to the quieter Cotswolds villages, but on the other hand a good starting point in case you still need food or clothes for your tour.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:some nice buildings
  • Cons:way too many tourists, too much traffic
