I have visited Tubingen twice: once in winter, when everything was grey and snow-covered, and once in summer, when everything was blooming and colourful. The town is very likeable - it has got one of the most beautiful old towns of Germany, dozens of timber-framed houses, narrow lanes and a castle overlooking all this. Moreover, the Neckar river flows silently through the valley and an island in the river is a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying a break. |
