Nightlife Spot: Tam Tam Bar
Tam Tam Bar is a very good place to spend your nights in Hoi An. Start there with a wonderful dinner - the food is delicious! Try to get a table on the balcony and you can watch the passers-by from up there. After that have a refreshing cocktail or a cool beer and move to the bar area. You'll easily get into contact with the people there - mainly Australians, as it seems. As far as I know, the owner is from down under, too. Tam Tam offers a wide selection of drinks and food and, although the prices are above average, should not be missed.

opinions do differ... i was not very impressed with Hoi An - though the architecture is sublime. but in my opinion the place lacked "vibes"... whereas Hue, I loved it REALLY. Wished I had stayed longer there and less in Hoi An. Keep smiling | victorwkf Tue Jan 16, 2007 13:27 UTC

Lovely place, Hoi An! I'll be in Riga until early April I think, and a day trip to Tartu might certainly be doable... :o) |
