Tacos? Don't miss - La Paz
Bismark-cito: Tacos? Don't miss

Bismark Cito on the La Paz waterfront. I don't know why they named a seafood restaurant after a German battleship, but this was the MUST visit place for years in La Paz and owners are absolutely Mexican. Lobster potatoes; paella; seafood soup; imperial shrimp wrapped in bacon and cheese as well as stuffed clams are just some of the menu favorites. It was born as tacos stand (and it is still) but now offers much more. Full of locals as well.

Tired of tacos? - La Paz
El Patron: Tired of tacos?

This restaurant has a perfect location at the end of the Malecon. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset from there. It represents a slight attempt to offer something different from the typical Mexican cuisine but somehow it did not convince me enough. Waiters are extremely friendly for my tastes (to aimed to get a big tip I think).

Sunset terrace - La Paz
Kiwi: Sunset terrace

Directly on the Malecon has a very nice ambience with a view on sea sunset, the food was not bad but nothing special and nothing to compare to Bismark-cito, in the same price range. I remember a very nice waitress.

Mexican high cuisine - La Paz
Les tres virgenes: Mexican high cuisine

This is one of the best restaurant in town. Very nice ambience, excellent service and high Mexican cuisine. If you are tired of tacos, it could be a nice (but expensive) alternative. Wines' list is also very wide.
