Sounds like a great place for a holiday. Would love to see the flamingoes and meet the friendly locals. One bad thing is that it's so far away from where I live.

Hi Aafia,,, Taiwan is nice if you get away from the big smoggy cities.... Progreso looks like a nice little place in Mex, hope it doesnt get overdeveloped like other beaches there... Cheers...

We loved that trip to Celestun, the flamingos, birds, cenote, etc - shame I lost most of my photos! Good tip about driving yourself - nice to hear - we want to do that next time . leyle
