We travelled the 1/2 hour from Desenzano by train.Again the trains arrived on time.
After walking what seemed an eternity we reached the centre of town.
Verona is a beautiful city dominated by the Roman Arena. The Romans always amaze me with their constructions, just hard to imagine that they were all built by hand.
The main "square" is very wide and very pleasant to walk around or just to sit and watch the world go by.
Perhaps not as famous as Venice, Verona is still beautiful city and worth a visit. |
