Getting TO/AROUND: Buenos Aires has an excellent train system serving all over the suburbs of the capital and the gran Buenos Aires, which here they call it as Provincias. You can reach Tigre by train easily and all the major provincias of San Isidro, martinez, all of them are served by the Linea Mitre. And the central station has a lovely english style, very well built and gorgeous! It is called Retiro!

Getting TO/AROUND: When we reach Argentina by car from Brazil this is the main way, driving thhrough the very modern Panamerica Express way, this is the entrance of Buenos Aires, roads are very good here, even the smallest ones! This picture was taken somewhere near Olivos when I was solving many importantant things like getting an apartment for me and my friend Steve who I decided to show buenos Aires! In the roads the Argentineans do not respect the lanes, in the city they are far better! It is like England! Sept - First Week - 2005

Getting TO/AROUND: this is the oldest train line in the city, it is not used anymore for the massive public, but it is for sure a great option for safe and cool tourism in the neighborhhods of Buenos Aires. The TREN DE LA COSTA is a modern and panoramic train which goes through the villages by the river, and you can stop in everystation to walk around the luxurious streets of the wealthiest districts of the town such as Anchorena, Martinez, San Isidro and it ends in the Delta of Tigre. The first station is Maypu, you can easily reach it when you go to the Train Station MITRE. Sept - FIRST WEEK - 2005

Getting TO/AROUND: San Isidro is my favourtie stop, it has nice shops, and great cafés where you can spent pleasant times with your friends and you can enjoy all over the neighborhood with its charming green square, and you can make funny walkings in the streets by the Rio de La Plata river, I was pictures right in the rails of Tren de la Costa. I was there with my chilean friend and very dear one, Mariano, the Second, and he took that picture when I was using his classes, it was me playing the INTELLIGENT TYPE! :) You will love to see San Isidro, and the is FREDDO over there!!!!!! :) For those who does not know what it is, it is the most famous icecream store of Buenos Aires!

Getting TO/AROUND: She is very kind, she is an expert in all the ways and corners of Buenos Aires and I am talking about a HUGE CITY. She is a great mother and beloved friend...Simply adorable, I spend almost one month in the city, and I used a lot of taxis, and taxis in Buenos Aires are like cockroaches in Senegal...THERE ARE BILLION OF TAXIS IN THE CITY, but she was the first woman I come across in my outings in the city, and to my surprise SHE IS A PILOT, extremely honest, she offers you many options for the fastest trip! She works for the TAXI COMPANY RADIO TAXI PORTEÑO, and this company can be reached if you dial 4566-5777... You can call and ask for Manuela, she is my great driver in Buenos Aires, and good, I just got one more good friend in a city that I really love! With her you can go everywhere in Buenos Aires with safety! Sept - LAST WEEK - 2005

Getting TO/AROUND: The avenues and streets of Buenos Aires are very long ones, long distances everytime you need to do something in the city, that is why the subway system is so important, but there are lots of buses in town, and they are very useful when you have to use short distances, and above all after 10pm when there is no subway! this is my brother Mariano and his girlfriend Luli, we were going to his Father's House for s typical argentinean barbecue. Getting TO/AROUND: You can reach Buenos Aires also via ferryboats, and one of the places you can get to Argentina is going to Tigre from Carmelo, Uruguay....Ten years ago I would never recommend you to use CACCIOLA services, because the boat they used to cross the river was these little ones you see in the picture, now they are using brand new catamaras and it can be a cheaper option, if you compare to Buquebus. Carmelo is a little village close to Colonia del Sacramento, very green little town, it can be also a great option for you to spend the day in the river edge of Uruguay! And if you want to stay in the provinces of Buenos Aires, tigre is the best start point, it is about 40 minutes away from Buenos Aires city centre by train of course!;)

Getting TO/AROUND: I really do not know which line you can find this unique train, but it is easy to find because it belongs to the same line which ends in Retiro Train Station. This train is running since 1911 and the Government still preserves it. By the way, the underground in Buenos Aires is the Second World's oldest subway...And for sure you can visit all the cioty using this very efficient transportation!!! Marcone and I went there last january. We had a lot of fun!
