Nightlife Spot: SEÑOR TANGO
Buenos Aires and tango, you cannot think about the two separately, impossible. Every porteñno, native of Buenos Aires has a favourite tango song, and this country had excelent musicians who always concerned about showing to the world, their culture, their custons, and their daily life. Tango tells you many stories, tango shows how much a person can suffer from love and nostalgy, tango shows you the love of your home land, and the life of a certain time in Argentina. Some tangos also tells you updated news, tells about your life today. TANGO NEVER DIES.... They say that SEÑOR TANGO is tango for export, because it is a very sophisticated place, for sure not so cheap, and they have like a BROADWAY production. You know how much I hate artificial stuffs, when I travel I like being close to the people and live their cultures... Well, the production is signed by a very famous Buenos Aires performer called Fernando Soler, and they have original tango dancers, and they really perform the TANGO MUSIC with the soul, and the production let us back to the past when Argentina had a bohemian life, when Argentina simply began with the indians, the spanish, the gauchos and when finally the TANGO started to be heard in the docks of the city! From Gardel to Piazzola the journey through the TANGO WORLD is simply fantastic from that house! My friend Steve from New Orleans, myself, and two friends from Argentina, Aida and his son Martin who lives in Mexico were there enjoying a very pleasant evening!

Señor Tango is one of the biggest Tango House in Buenos Aires, one of the most traditional too, going there you can be sure you will see the best performers of Tango, great and old Conductors are there to give you a detailed idea about Tango Music, the sensual dance of the Couple Dancers, the game with the hands and the legs and the strong and deep lyrics of this lovely argentinean rhythm. In the end of the show you will understand why you love Argentina so much! They end with a great interpretation of NO LLORES POR MI ARGENTINA!

Nightlife Spot: SEÑOR TANGO
Get your pocket prepared, it is parhaps one of the most expensive shows of Tango in Argentina but the shows worths every little penny you paid for the most spectacular show of Tango you will ever see in your entirely life. I am a Tango Lover, everybody knows that, and for sure since the very beggining you will get absolutely impressed and overjoyed. You will see the main characters of the tango scenery nowadays, like the incredible master conductor Ernesto Franco, the meeeting of the very old generation of Tango with the Young Orchestra which one of the performers has just 17 years old!!! This people really take very seriously that wonderful rhythm that tells the whole story of the Nation. Señor Tango will be one of your greatest experience in Buenos Aires, for sure, it was one of mine and I will always go there at least once a year! Sep 21, 2005

Nightlife Spot: SEÑOR TANGO
The food was spectacular, the ambience VERY sophisticated, and they preserved the bohemian style of a suburbian Buenos Aires when the great names like Gardel and Le Pera used to stop to sing or just to stroll around the bars of that time...The show really gave us an idea about how wonderful Tango is. We were so delighted to hear great songs, spectacular dances, and right in the end I met, the main performer of the show, the one who introduced us to the UNIVERSE OF TANGO in such an unforgetable way.... Fernando Soler, one of the most important Tango Interpreter of Argentina, the one who gives the world the real maining of their culture. Fernando started singing when he was just 7 years old, and today he is one of the most famous Tango Singer in the country, he is considered as THE VOICE OF BUENOS AIRES, he took his show to the best opera and music halls of the world. The government trusts him the title of the Argentinean Music and Culture Embassador and his house is part of the city tourism attraction, in his house you will know everything about Tango, and you will have the opportunity to taste the best of the local food and the incredibly gorgeous wine! In 2001, Fernando Soler made a concert at the most traditional and classic Teatro Colon, being one of the fewest tango performer to make such a show, bring to the Theatre great names of the local culture elite such as Anibal Troilo, Astor Piazzolla, Osvaldo Pugliese and Mariano Mores, being recognized as one of the most important presentation in such a place! So I was very happy to met Fernando, and I told him that I already loved Argentina, but after seeing his show, I love Argentina even more! Señor Tango in my opinion is really a home of the culture in all over Argentina. September 21st, 2005
